2008 Mini-Quilt Challenge
“Old Fashioned Fun on the Farm”
All entered quilts will be displayed in our store at 1013 E. 15th Street in historic downtown Plano on May 10 - 11 as part of the Blackland Prairie Festival, a living history festival that celebrates small town life at the turn of the century.
Challenge Rules:

Entries must use the Challenge Fabric; which is any one of 8 different 9” X 9” squares from the Peas and Carrots collection by American Jane for Moda. This fabric will be available at Ruby Jane’s Retro Fabric for $1.25 per square. You may use any other fabrics from any other collection to complete your quilt.

Maximum size is 36” X 36”. There is no minimum size.
•
May be pieced or appliquéd, or a combination of the two.
•
May be embellished with beads threads, etc.
•
May be hand or machine quilted or tied
•
Must be bound on all edges.
•
Please add a hanging sleeve where applicable.

Entries must be accompanied by the Entry Form
•
Entries due by May 8, 2008.

Viewer’s Choice
Prizes: Best in Show will receive a gift basket full of fabric, patterns, and notions, donated by Moda/United Notions. Category winners will receive one of the following: gift cards fabric bundles, patterns, charm packs, notions. Viewers Choice winner will receive a gift basket donated by 15th Street merchants.
